The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must meet the subsequent criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house which has a combined gross family income that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and nsfas status check R600 000 for every annum.

Applicants are reminded to provide the right Identification Doc numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored of their South African ID.
